HELMET AND SHOULDER PAD SIZING AND FITTING

HELMET WARNING: NO HELMET CAN PREVENT SERIOUS HEAD OR NECK INJURIES A PLAYER MIGHT RECEIVE WHILE PARTICIPATING IN FOOTBALL.  Do not use this helmet to butt, ram or spear an opposing player. This is in violation of football rules and such use can result in severe head or neck injuries, paralysis or death to you and possible injury  to your opponent.

Contact in football may result in CONCUSSION-BRAIN INJURY, which no helmet can prevent.  Symptoms include: loss of consciousness or memory, dizziness, headache, nausea or confusion. If you have symptoms, immediately stop playing and report them to your coach, trainer, and parents. Do not return to a game or practice until all symptoms are gone and you have received medical clearance. Ignoring this warning may lead to another more serious or fatal brain injury.

Former Pee Wee Rebel – Damon Clyburn

Rebel Coaches always inform their players  -  if they do well in school, do what is required of their parents, and work hard to win, they will be successful both on and off the field. Damon Clyburn has seen the rewards of what his coaches preached when he played for the Pee Wee Rebels several years ago.  Now, Damon has successfully completed four years of football at Trinity-Pawling High School in upstate New York, and is on the way to complete his academic requirements and graduate within four years.  Damon will have his choice of colleges to attend, all because he chose to follow the advice of his coaches – WHO WILL FOLLOW IN DAMON’S FOOTSTEPS?

Rebel Parent All Stars

There are many players and parents that I meet, and introduce to certain aspects of the program, making them either Pee Wees, Intermediates, or Super Prep players.  I walk in, say hello, then rush to cover the team I am working with, or discuss operational focus for the week, or many other issues that arise during the season.  I have to admit, most of the time I may not say hello, or give the cheerful greeting all expect, but I notice all of the time,  devotion, support and love that is given to our kids, and this program, and wish to thank those parents that come to mind as Rebel Parent All Stars -

Thomas Wilder

Carmen De LaRosa

David Encarnacion  – Mr. Encarnacion is a Super All Star – he has had 2 generations,  his son and his grandson play for the Rebels, and both have shined.

There are many more to name, but time and space will not allow for now.  All of the parents that are Rebel All Stars will be named soon, and awarded.

I may not always say it  but thank you to all those mentioned, and yet to be mentioned.
