2010 Program Meeting – All Players – All Levels

THERE IS A PARENT AND PLAYERS ORIENTATION FOR NEW AND RETURNING PLAYERS -  THURSDAY MARCH  11TH @ 7:30PM – PEE WEE, INTERMEDIATE, AND SUPER PREP PLAYERS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND.  THE MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER BEHIND EVANDER’S FIELD ON MAGENTA AVENUE.

Former Pee Wee Rebel – Damon Clyburn

Rebel Coaches always inform their players  -  if they do well in school, do what is required of their parents, and work hard to win, they will be successful both on and off the field. Damon Clyburn has seen the rewards of what his coaches preached when he played for the Pee Wee Rebels several years ago.  Now, Damon has successfully completed four years of football at Trinity-Pawling High School in upstate New York, and is on the way to complete his academic requirements and graduate within four years.  Damon will have his choice of colleges to attend, all because he chose to follow the advice of his coaches – WHO WILL FOLLOW IN DAMON’S FOOTSTEPS?

SPRING GAMES IN APRIL

The Rebels will play a short Spring season vs the Wolfpack, Kings, and other teams to be announced. This means practice will begin sooner than expected for the Pee Wee and Intermediate teams. Stay tuned for further updates.

All Star format has changed

IT IS WITH A SAD HEART, THAT WE ANNOUNCE THAT DUE TO WEATHER CONCERNS, WE HAVE PULLED OUT OF THE JR ECFL. WE WERE TOLD THE SEASON WOULD NOT BE PUSHED BACK AND SINCE THE SAFETY OF OUR PLAYERS IS PARAMOUNT, WE HAVE DECIDED TO GO FORWARD WITH AN ALL STAR GAME, INSTEAD OF AN ALL STAR SEASON. The Super Prep All Star team will begin practice in may for the Gridiron Elite Tournament.  Updates to this site with practice info and information for Bronx Rebels 2010 will appear within the week.

REBEL AWARDS BREAKFAST POSTPONED UNTIL APRIL 2010 – PEE WEE PARENTS CELEBRATE CHAMPIONSHIP WIN THIS WEEKEND

The Rebel Awards Ceremony has been pushed back until April 2010.  This Saturday, February 6th – there will be a ceremony honoring the Rebel Pee Wee Championship @ the Learning Tree School. More information will be posted here tomorrow regarding time and place.
